It has long been confirmed that The Incredible Hulk (played by Mark Rufallo) will star alongside Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in Marvel’s upcoming film “Thor: Ragnarok.”
Now, it looks like another high-profile superhero will join the fray.
An allegiance between the God of Thunder and Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange was first teased during a mid-credit scene in the Sorcerer’s Supreme standalone film last year.
A recently leaked trailer for the Japanese audience showed additional footage of an interaction between the two enigmatic heroes.
“Thor, I sense a great change in your future. Destiny has dire plans for you, my friend,” Strange said, to which Thor responded, “I have dire plans for destiny.”
Opening on Nov. 3, “Thor: Ragnarok” also stars Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Karl Urban as Skurge. /ra
