A message shared on Facebook from Randy’s brother Reily stated that Ryan’s “passing was peaceful and painless. Our family and friends will terribly miss his infectious smile, funny jokes and his great fashion style.”

Ryan was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an incurable disease which causes nerve damage and affects the brain and spinal cord. He was a student at De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde.

On Mother’s Day this year, Ryan thanked his mother for supporting him through his illness. He wrote: “You are my backbone that keeps me up and strong… We have been through a lot especially my hospital times. You were there beside me who keeps on shouting we can do this anak!” He also mentioned in the post that he was “getting better.”

Viewing of his remains is at the La Salle Green Hills Chapel from August 14 to 16, 2017, 5:00 p.m. to 12 midnight. JB
