Stylistics show next month

Russell Thompkins Jr. and the New Stylistics will hold a one-night concert on Sept. 8 at The Theatre at Solaire. Their hit songs include “Betcha by Golly Wow,” “You’ll Never Get to Heaven If You Break My Heart” and “Stop, Look, Listen.”

The group—composed of original singer Russell Thompkins Jr., guitarist-vocalist Raymond Johnson and singer-songwriter Jonathan Buckson—is celebrating its 14th anniversary this year.
