Drama actress Judy Ann Santos cannot hold her
8excitement over the upcoming screening of the restored version of her classic movie “Isusumbong Kita sa Tatay Ko” with the legendary actor Fernando Poe Jr.In a recent Instagram post, Santos shared with her fans the good news. The restored version will screen on Aug. 17 at SM North EDSA (The Block) Cinema 1.

In her post, the actress shared that she has never imagined working with the legendary movie king. She pitied today’s young actors for not having the chance to share the screen with Poe. Despite his death, Santos hopes today’s generation of new actors learn a thing or two from his works. In closing she said she missed what she considered as her father in show biz.
Fernando Poe Jr. died following a stroke in 2004. One of his most memorable movies, “Ang Probinsyano,” was remade by ABS-CBN as a primetime action series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.” The top-rating program is top-billed by Kapamilya actor Coco Martin.
