Confirmed! Ex-‘Eat Bulaga’ host Julia Clarete is married

Former “Eat Bulaga” host Julia Clarete has finally confirmed her marriage to Gareth McGeown.
Following recent social media clues about her big day, Clarete shared a wedding photo of her and McGeown on Instagram yesterday, July 28. The couple exchanged vows at the Ballynahinch Castle Hotel in Ireland, the groom’s home country.
Last week, netizens speculated about Clarete’s wedding with McGeown after the former posted a picture of what seemed to be a portion of the skirt of a wedding gown. In another Facebook post, Clarete labeled her newest short film “Skit” as a “great wedding gift.”
Clarete left the long-running noontime show last year to live with McGeown in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The pair’s engagement was divulged last September while attending the wedding of Clarete’s former co-host Isabelle Daza to former Adidas Philippines country general manager Adrien Semblat in Italy.
Clarete has a son, Sebastian, with ex-husband businessman Stephen Uy. JB
