Joey Mead King became the luckiest woman when her transgender wife, Angelina King, gifted her with her dream car.
King, a car enthusiast, documented her yearlong journey in restoring and polishing a rare matte black 1967 Mustang Eleanor for Mead through a YouTube blog on Monday. King named the car “Angelina” and embellished it with Mead’s initials.
“Finally, after a year in the making, I get to unveil Angelina to my lovely wife! Number 7 in the build of the official Elenor series. Nothing but love,” King captioned her clip, which amassed 300,000 views as of Friday.
Surprised with the lavish present, the model-host lavishly thanked King. “I experienced the [most] craziest surprise ever in my life earlier today,” Mead captioned her Instagram post.
King collaborated with Los Angeles-based car dealer Fusion Motors Co. to personalize the Mustang which, according to King, was the seventh made in the world.
In July 2016, King came out as a transgender woman through an Instagram post. The couple stars in the TLC Asia show “The Kings,” which premiered last month. Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
