LOOK: Jeremy Renner confirms he broke both arms during ‘Infinity War’ filming

Last month “Avengers” star Jeremy Renner shared a photo of himself with a cast on both his arms.

The Instagram post was captioned “Fall down seven times…stand up 8!” along with the hashtags  #fixedup  and #pushthrough.

A week ago, the 46-year-old American actor— more popularly known as “Hawkeye” in the Marvel lore—confirmed that he “broke both arms” during filming of the highly anticipated “Avengers: Infinity War,” which is set to debut next year.

According to Variety, Renner suffered fractures to his right elbow and left wrist during the filming of an unspecified scene.

The veteran actor seeks the aid of a stunt double during action scenes, but insists on pulling off some of the moves himself. Reiner, however, did not go into detail how the injury took place.

“There will be an effect to it, but it won’t stop me from doing things that I need to be doing,” he described the incident. “I’ll heal fast. I’m doing everything I can to heal faster.”

“Avengers: Infinity War” premieres on  May 8, 2018.
