Kris Aquino was with her former home network ABS-CBN for over twenty years, which explains her fans’ gloom over her departure. Since then, fans have always expressed hopes for her to be a Kapamilya once again, but this time, Aquino makes it clear: she is not returning to ABS-CBN.
In one of Aquino’s recent Instagram posts, a netizen by the handle @ice_0123 asked the “Queen of All Media” if indeed rumors are true that she is returning to ABS-CBN.
The lucky netizen caught the actress-TV host’s attention and got an answer from her. Aquino said there are “no talks, no offer.”
Aquino also shared that she is currently busy with “doing more digital work w/ 2 other blue chip Filipino conglomerates and an exciting YouTube project.” She said she is also starting to “shoot for my @iflix project very soon.”
Recently, she shared with her fans and followers the news of her partnership with search engine giant Google, for a project that’s “unique, personal and family oriented.” She was congratulated by her supporters who were pleased with her new endeavors.
Over the course of her absence on TV, she has made a few hints regarding a possible transfer to another network, but nothing has been made final. Now, the talk show host is strengthening her online presence while she is away from the mainstream limelight.
Aquino has also been teasing her fans about some Hollywood projects which she does not speak very specifically about, supposedly for confidentiality reasons. JB
