Two days after she was nominated for best actress at the Gawad Urian for her work in Eduardo Roy Jr.’s “Pamilya Ordinaryo,” Hasmine Killip gave birth to a baby girl in London, United Kingdom, last week.
Husband Anthony Killip was by her side throughout the cesarean procedure.
“Hasmine is doing very well,” Anthony related. “The baby weighs 5.9 pounds. We named her Maya.”
“I am so happy,” Hasmine told the Inquirer. “Now, I know how it feels to be a mother—the role I played in ‘Pamilya Ordinaryo.’”
The timing of the Urian nod couldn’t be more appropriate.
“I am glad to be among the nominees, but today I already feel like a winner with the coming of my baby girl! Ganda pa ng lahi. Charot!”—BAYANI SAN DIEGO JR.
