Star Cinema is once again up for a big movie production with a powerhouse cast that includes Aga Muhlach, Dingdong Dantes, Cristine Reyes and Enrique Gil.
The stars recently gathered for a story conference at ABS-CBN, for the film “Seven Sundays”. Star Cinema’s official Instagram account gave fans a glimpse.
Veteran actor and former matinee idol Aga Muhlach talked about his character: “I’m excited for the role. I’m playing [the eldest brother].”
Dingdong Dantes, despite being the Kapuso primetime king, has been a Star Cinema favorite. Previously, he has done “Segunda Mano”, “She’s The One”, “One More Try” and “The Unmarried Wife” for the studio. Now he is slated for another project with the film production company, and he expressed his excitement over the movie.
Meanwhile, sexy actress Cristine Reyes, despite having done numerous film and TV projects, feels like a newbie once again now that she’s set to work with the stellar cast of “Seven Sundays”.
“I’m super excited and at the same time nervous kasi it’s a big cast. Dream ko makasama si Aga Muhlach, si Tito Ron, si Kuya Dong ang tagal ko na ‘di nakatrabaho. Nakakanerbyos, feeling ko baguhan ako.”
(It’s really my dream to work with Aga Muhlach, Tito Ron [Ronaldo Valdez], [and I’ve not worked with] Dingdong Dantes for a long time. It’s nerve-wracking, I feel like a newbie.)
Young actor and Kapamilya heartthrob Enrique Gil sees this opportunity to do something different: “First time ko gumawa ng [to do] family movie. Sanay kasi ako na laging [I’m used to always doing] love team [movies].”
The cast sure felt honored to be working with veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez.
In this post, the three seasoned actors from different generations have a little chat.
Dantes proves he has maintained good relations with Star Cinema despite belonging to its rival network. He was welcomed by Star Creatives COO Malou N. Santos.
“Seven Sundays” will be directed by blockbuster-maker Cathy Garcia-Molina. JB
