‘The Accountant’ sequel in the works, Ben Affleck tipped to return

Warner Bros. reportedly has a sequel in the pipeline for the action drama film “The Accountant”, with its star Ben Affleck in talks to return.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Affleck — who played the part of high-functioning autistic accountant Christian Wolff in the 2016 feature — could come back to reprise his role, along with original writer Bill Dubuque and director Gavin O’Connor.
Producers Lynette Howell Taylor and Mark Williams are also circling the proposed sequel.
Affleck who has a long working relationship with Warners, which made his Oscar Best Picture winning feature “Argo”, will next be seen in the Warners’ November superhero release “Justice League”. JB
