Jonah Hill gets in shape

Actor Jonah Hill’s dramatic weight loss is being described by netizens as “inspiring” and “motivating.” The 33-year-old actor seriously took the sound advice of his “21 Jump Street” costar, Channing Tatum.

Last year, the formerly overweight actor told talk show host Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show”: “I wanted to get in better shape, so I called Channing and said, ‘Hey, if I ate less and go to a trainer, will I get in better shape?’ [He replied,] ‘Yes, you dumb motherf**ker—of course, you will. It’s the simplest thing in the entire world.’”

Oona Chaplin, best-known for playing the ill-fated Talisa Stark in HBO’s fantasy series, “Game of Thrones,” has been included in James Cameron’s long-planned “Avatar” sequels. Talisa, one of the popular show’s gentler characters, was among the casualties in the Season Three episode, “The Rains of Castamere,” which featured the “Red Wedding” massacre.

Chaplin, 31, is the granddaughter of silent-movie icon Charlie Chaplin. She will work alongside “Avatar” castmates Sigourney Weaver, Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana.—OLIVER PULUMBARIT
