Books: Jessa Zaragoza
I discovered the book “Four Blood Types, Four Diets: Eat Right for Your Type,” by Dr. Peter J. D’Adamo (with Catherine Whitney) in my Bikram yoga class (my classmates and I pass around books). After reading it, we decided to get individual copies. I found the right diet for my body—an accomplishment, considering how sensitive my digestive system is. Now I understand my body better. I learned that I should avoid bananas, for example, because it interferes with my digestion, just like corn. I should have more vegetables and fish, though. After a month, I’ve not only lost weight, I also feel good. I no longer feel bloated.—Bayani San Diego Jr.
