Wonder Woman gives Paolo a thrill

Paolo Ballesteros as Gal Gadot, the new Wonder Woman

All of cyberspace went gaga over actor-TV host Paolo Ballesteros’ latest reinvention as Gal Gadot, aka Wonder Woman. He shared the video of the entire transformation process in social media. One website dubbed Paolo “a makeup magician,” and he was even featured in a Yahoo video. As coup de grace, the Gal Gadot page on Facebook likewise posted the video of Paolo’s makeover.

Gal, who plays the Amazonian superhero in Patty Jenkins’ hit movie, was just as amazed, tweeting: “Wow! This is incredible! Bravo!” Paolo was naturally thrilled that Hollywood’s hottest star had noticed his work. Paolo told the Inquirer: “Nakakakilig!”

Paolo had earlier done a makeup transformation/tribute to the original “Wonder Woman,” the 1970s TV series’ Lynda Carter. And it was just as wondrous as Gal. Calling Lynda! —BAYANI SAN DIEGO JR.
