Sylvia Sanchez thanks her “guardian angel in heaven” for her “success” in show biz, as evidenced by her winning the best actress in a drama program trophy at the recent 25th Golden Dove Awards.
Sylvia described her late talent manager Cornelia “Tita Angge” Lee as her “guardian angel in heaven.”
“When she was still bedridden and then when she passed on, I’d whisper to Tita Angge’s ears to ask her to pray for me and my family when she eventually joined God,” she recalled.
“I told her I would take care of her children. I missed her so much on my last birthday. I got so used to her being the first person to greet me. My birthday felt lacking.”
Sylvia will start working on a horror movie for Cinema One Originals soon.—MARINEL R. CRUZ
