It was a showstopping moment when pop princess Britney Spears finally performed in Manila on Thursday. The SM Mall of Asia Area was jam-packed with euphoric fans including local celebrities, who had waited for more than a decade for the pop diva’s arrival in the country. On Thursday night they erupted to the tune of Spears’ all-time favorite hits.
The 20-song dance concert was filled with a roaring fans some of whom were clad in Britney-inspired costumes from her music videos. But just like Spears, celebrities who watched also gave fans delight.
These celebrities expressed what they felt at the “Britney Live in Manila” concert via their Instagram accounts.
Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador said she was a certified “Britney fan since hit me baby one more time was released!”
Actress/model KC Concepcion displayed closeness with former Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7 housemate Kisses Delavin as they gamely partied at Spears’ concert.
Choreographer to the stars and G-Force founder Teacher Georcelle shared how Delavin, despite not knowing 80% of Britney’s songs, was amazed at Concepcion when the Mega daughter got emotional in the middle of the concert.
Kapamilya actress Coleen Garcia showcased her fandom through a video post of Spears’ performance on her Instagram. The young actress gushed that watching the pop princess perform “made me feel so nostalgic ❤ She’s so sexy!”
Garcia also channeled Spears’ gym look at the music video of “Hit Me Baby One More Time.” Clad in a fit pink half-top and white jogging pants, she nailed the pop princess’ young-girl look.
Sexy actresses Ellen Adarna and Solenn Heussaff were certified “Slaves for ya!” at the concert.
New Kapamilya actress Sarah Lahbati was “Late for school… I mean @britneyspears.” She was among those who sported Spears’ fierce school-girl look off her “Hit Me Baby One More Time” music video.
The mother-and-daughter tandem of Lucy Torres-Gomez and Juliana Gomez came to party together for Spears in Manila.
