Popular heartthrob desperately needs a makeover
Popular Heartthrob is swiftly losing his appeal among girls and gays alike.
For starters, PH should sack present stylist for recommending a look that ages him by decades. Why sport the same style as a color-blind trapo?
The stylist, however, shouldn’t be blamed for another touchy issue: PH’s receding hairline.
Blame overactive testosterone or the “imported” genes.
PH’s Admired Colleague has the same “hairy” problem. Another coworker, Glib Entertainer, did something about it, but the result is neither convincing…nor flattering.
Try again.

Article continues after this advertisementCan you blame Scandalous Celebrity for being proud of a past conquest? SC’s supporters can’t help spreading the scuttlebutt that Major Star was once a prospective sweetheart.
Back then, MS was not that rich nor famous, so SC reluctantly nixed the blossoming affair.
Sounds like there’s more than a tinge in regret in SC’s heart? After all, MS eventually became the toast of Tinseltown. Meanwhile, SC’s career is still languishing in limbo.
Mum’s not the word
Turns out High-profile Luminary’s secrets are not safe with Trusted Veteran.
HL confided in TV the gory details of previous relationships. Well, TV is now using HL’s past indiscretions to gain the upper hand and maintain a rather dysfunctional arrangement.
TV will keep mum for as long as HL behaves…
But the minute HL shows the tiniest sign of resistance, TV will unleash all sorts of threats.
Tattletale
Seems TV is a certified tattletale.
According to an insider, TV is also spreading that malicious rumor about Glamorous Celeb’s Vociferous Kin. TV insists that VK has one weakness: Gambling.
By gossiping about VK, TV unwittingly confessed to being a casino habitué, as well.
According to the grapevine, TV and friends bumped into VK in a gambling joint.
Talk about self-incrimination.
High roller
From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:
Speaking of high rollers.
Seasoned Personality is frequently spotted gambling the night away in different casinos.
Friends are wondering how SP is able to finance such an expensive vice. Perhaps SP has found a new “source” of income.
Longtime pals, who are down and out, are also bothered by the changes in SP’s behavior. SP abandoned LPs in their time of need and would rather throw away millions in those sleazy nightspots.
Top of show biz news
For those who missed last weekend’s show biz news on TV. (And why we are moved, if we are moved.)
Richard Yap on his role in a new movie with Jodi Sta. Maria and Robin Padilla: “It’s not the usual Ser Chief-type of character. Maginoo, pero medyo naughty.” (Veddy interesting.)
Anne Curtis on rumors that she will play Darna’s nemesis, Valentina: “As far as I know, hindi! Pero hindi naman [ako takot sa ahas].” (But are the snakes afraid of you?)
Bea Binene on adapting a healthier lifestyle: “Gym, diet at hindi na ako kumakain ng rice at fastfood…no sugar and salt.” (Moving on…)
Sanya Lopez, asked if she’s ready to pose for a men’s magazine: “Why not,? Achievement din ’yun. I’m happy I’m being considered for that.” (Please define “achievement.”)
Kris Bernal on her nonshow biz boyfriend: “Hindi siya seloso at naiintindihan n’ya ang trabaho ko.” (Namen. Basic requirement ’yon.)
Alden Richards on his Father’s Day plans: “My family and I are very simple. We don’t celebrate in a big way. But I’m saving up for something big this Christmas.” (Happy holidays!)
Alden on giving away school supplies to children: “’Yung education… no one can steal that.” (Spin a win!)
