Donald Trump aggressively asked out Salma Hayek on a date—while she had a boyfriend

Hollywood actress Salma Hayek once caught the eye of United States President Donald Trump, and it wasn’t quite romantic.

On “The Daily Show” with Trevor Noah, she recounted how she was at an event with her then-boyfriend, when suddenly Trump put his jacket on her after noticing she was shivering. She described him as “super nice” when he introduced himself to the couple.

“Then he kept talking to my boyfriend. Then he befriended my boyfriend and invited him to dinner afterwards.”

Trump extended an invitation to Atlantic City and to stay at his hotel, and then took both their numbers. “He never talked to my boyfriend again,” said the Mexican beauty.

He then called her up to go on a date. Confused, she asked, “Am I crazy? Are you asking me out? You know I have a boyfriend.”

Trump said, “He’s not good enough for you, not important. He’s not big enough for you. You have to go out with me.”

While Hayek revealed a few more new details on Trump’s advances, this was not the first time that Hayek has shared about it. Last year, prior to Trump’s election as president, Hayek has spoken about it, too. Hayek has been a vocal critic of Trump, in light of the President’s campaign statements about Mexico being an exporter of rapists and criminal elements into the U.S.
