WATCH: Fans rejoice after spotting Coach Bolton of ‘High School Musical’

Bart Johnson, who played Zac Efron’s on-screen father and coach in “High School Musical,” had a familiar reaction upon being recognized by zany fans.

In a clip that has ignited Twitter with over 103,000 retweets since Thursday, lucky girls spotted Johnson while he was jogging on the streets of Los Angeles, California. Noticing him as Wildcats basketball coach Jack Bolton and Troy’s dad on the hit Disney saga, one of them squawked, “Wait, please! It’s Troy Bolton’s dad!”

The actor dashed across the street and greeted them with his iconic “High School Musical” dialogue: “What’s up Wildcats? Keep your head in the game,” before continuing his run.

Johnson reposted the now-viral video on his Instagram account, captioning it with, “I always pay respect to my Wildcat gangsters on the mean streets of LA or anywhere.”
