Jason Momoa is one intense man.

The 37-year-old American actor—who’s of Polynesian descent—once again showcased his ferocity by performing New Zealand’s traditional war cry, the Haka.

As a show of support for friend and countryman Mark “Super Samoan” Hunt’s upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fight, Momoa performed the symbolic primal dance together with members of Auckland’s UFC team.

Hunt evidently appreciated the gesture, as he shared the video on his personal Instagram account. “I will always go out into battle and give it my all and I appreciate the love I have felt from you guys here today,” he captioned a separate post.

Hunt will face Derrick “The Black Beast” Lewis on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) in the UFC Fight Night in Australia.

Momoa, on the other hand, became a household name after portraying Khal Drogo in HBO’s Game of Thrones.

He is set to appear as Arthur Curry/Aquaman in the film “Justice League,” which is set to be shown this November, and an upcoming solo movie slated for 2018.  Khristian Ibarrola /ra
