Her recent TV interview on her breakup with Piolo Pascual was painful to watch, but I think KC was really hurting from the controversy-laden relationship. She’s a smart and beautiful woman who deserves a better man. I hope she finally finds her Mr. Right.”

Nenita Que, bank employee: “The controversial video footage involving a high-profile government spokesperson is proof that TV is such a cruel medium. Indeed, the embarrassing video instantly became an Internet and social network sensation, and the person involved was undeservedly judged by viewers.
“Adding insult to the injury were the hosts of a top-rating noontime show who mimicked what the poor guy did on the video the day after the incident. What they did was a cheap shot. Do our TV hosts have to go that low to be funny—at other people’s expense?”
Glitter
Rosie Carino, retired teacher: “I’m delighted to see that some of our veteran actresses are still visible on TV. Susan Roces, Gloria Romero, Boots Anson-Roa and Barbara Perez add glitter to our teleseryes that usually feature over-exposed character actresses. How I wish our networks would take time to bring back other, much-admired actresses, like Lolita Rodriguez and Pilar Pilapil!”
Linda Rezada, televiewer: “The last person I could imagine for a show biz-oriented talk-show host is Zoren Legaspi. One’s sexual orientation is suspect when a guy does a show loaded with the latest show biz tsismis, but Zoren seems to be an exception. So far, he’s doing fine, although I think he’s still best suited for leading-man roles, like what he does on ‘Glamorosa.’”
