Comedian James Corden is known for singing along with the hottest celebrities in the segment “Carpool Karaoke”, and finally, he hitched in British artist Ed Sheeran.
But the acoustic singer-songwriter’s carpool was more than just singing. Corden brought up his quirky talent of stuffing up to 47 chocolate balls called Maltesers in his mouth.
Both tried it out: Corden tapped out at 25, while Sheeran went on until 55 before spitting it out on a sidewalk. “That was insane!” exclaimed Corden.
Sheeran also talked about letting go of his phone—he said getting messages from people constantly asking him to do things for them was draining—and how he spent a year away from the spotlight.
Both sang the redhead’s hits including “Shape of You”, “Sing”, and “Thinking Out Loud”. They also did covers of “Love Yourself”, Justin Bieber’s hit which Sheeran wrote, and One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful.”

Of his songwriting, Sheeran claimed it was God’s gift to him for being “unfortunate-looking.” “You need help getting laid mate,” he joked. JB
