The latest trailer for the live-action adaptation of the anime “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable” has revealed some of the different “Stand” powers that the characters posses.
A new promotional image has also been revealed on the movie’s official Twitter account.
The movie’s full title is “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond wa Kudakenai Dai-Ichi-Shō” (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable Chapter I).
Anime News Network reports that the movie will have its world premiere in the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) in Switzerland on July 2. It will also be shown at Montreal’s Fantasia International Film Festival, which will take place between July 13 and August 2. The Japanese premiere will be on August 4.
“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable” is the latest addition to the JoJo anime series which started in October 2012. “Diamond Is Unbreakable” aired between April 1 to December 23, 2016. It followed the adventures of Josuke Higashikata and his friends as they attempt to solve mysterious events that happen in their home town of Morioh.
Stand is a physical manifestation of a person’s fighting spirit unique to the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series. Each Stand has a different ability unique to the person wielding it, referred to as a Stand User. Alfred Bayle/JB
