Accomplished musician and blossoming actress Rihanna is expanding her reign into the cosmetics industry.
The “Work” hitmaker teased her debut makeup line called “Fenty Beauty” via her social media pages on Thursday. The collection, which is slated to arrive this fall season, was the fruit of Rihanna’s deal with luxury goods giant Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) last April.
Fenty Beauty is engineered with LVMH-affiliated Kendo Brands, whose headquarters is based in San Francisco, California. “New generation of beauty…coming this fall,” Rihanna said.

Back in February, an unverified Instagram page bearing the name “Fenty Beauty Cosmetics” tricked netizens into thinking that Rihanna had officially launched her newest venture. It later turned out to be made by Rihanna’s fans.
Before swiveling her attention to cosmetics, Rihanna, 29, collaborated with shoe company Puma for her “Rihanna x Puma Fenty” footwear collection. Some of Rihanna’s creations include jelly slippers, Fenty Creeper Sandals and Slingback Heels.
More projects are in store for Rihanna this year. Following a meme that recently went viral on Twitter, Rihanna and Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o were handpicked to headline a heist-oriented film, which will be directed by Ava DuVernay. Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
