Super buff Stephen Amell is always shown working out in the role as the green-hooded hero “Arrow” on TV.
Now, it appears years of exercise and stunt practices have paid off when he successfully completed an American Ninja Warrior course.
Amell joined a celebrity edition of the show for TV network NBC’s Red Nose Day special programming. Red Nose Day aims to help children in poverty within the United States and around the world.
Showing immense agility and strength, the star of “Arrow” practically breezed through six obstacles, which the hosts said only Olympian gold medalist Ashton Eaton had been able to complete. Unlike other celebrities, he also didn’t take the option of tagging his coach Kacy Catanzaro in obstacles that were extra challenging.
Celebrities were only required to finish one course, but Amell was willing to do a second one that he was only partially able to complete—but only after he did the salmon ladder, a difficult upper body routine which he always does on the show.
