BTS makes new celebrity friends in the US

Besides making history and taking home the Top Social Artist Award at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards last May 21, 2017, Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS) has also made a lot of friends to share the joy of the triumph with.

Chainsmokers
The award show has brought the idol group and EDM duo together, as the artists hung out backstage. The official BBMA Twitter account even tweeted their group photo before the show. The Chainsmokers also posted a group photo with the caption “Love these dudes! See you guys in summer!” leaving the fans to wonder if they’re going to drop a collab soon.

Halsey
American pop star Halsey, who collaborated with the Chainsmokers for their hit song “Closer” has also become very close with the idol group. In fact, Halsey even posted a video on Twitter wherein the boys exchanged presents with her. Halsey gave them churros and BTS gave them a box of Korean snacks.

Camila Cabello
A rising solo star and former member of Fifth Harmony, Camila Cabello met the boys shortly after they won the award. Cabello kissed all the members on the cheek before posing for a group photo.

Steve Aoki
Before leaving for Sydney, BTS were able to meet electronic house musician, record producer and DJ Steve Aoki. Steve tweeted a photo with the caption “Game plan ✔🔜 @BTS_twt” which again piqued the interest of ARMYs for a possible collaboration.
BTS also posed with “The Fault in our Stars” actor Ansel Elgort where the former tweeted a photo with them with the caption “Joined a K pop band 🙏”. They also said in an interview that they had also met other artists like American rappers Desiigner and Machine Gun Kelly.
