Luis Alandy on the set of “Citizen Jake”
“A revelation,” filmmaker Mike de Leon described actor Luis Alandy, who is in the cast of his directorial comeback, “Citizen Jake.”
For his part, the actor also had nothing but praise for the esteemed director. “It was an honor to be one of the actors in a Mike de Leon film. For me, the experience was overwhelming. At first, I was anxious, too. He was brilliant with his shots and storytelling—that’s why they call him ‘the Master.’ He has a way of interconnecting the characters through his shots.”
