LOOK: Kapamilya stars shine at Star Magic’s 25th anniversary

Kapamilya stars shone brightly at the recently concluded 25th anniversary show of Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s talent management center, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last Sunday, May 21.

Taking the festivities to the network’s Sunday noontime variety show, ASAP, Star Magic celebrated with over one hundred of the country’s biggest and brightest stars, headed by: Piolo Pascual, Jericho Rosales, Bea Alonzo, Toni Gonzaga, Jolina Magdangal, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, Maja Salvador, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Angelica Panganiban and Enchong Dee, among others.

The ASAP celebration is a two-part special which will continue to air until next Sunday, May 28.

Star Magic was launched in 1992. It all began when Freddie Garcia (then executive vice rresident and general manager for ABS-CBN) and Johnny Manahan (then program director) gave birth to the idea of creating a stable of stars exclusively for the network.

Previously known as Talent Center, its first major project was the hit afternoon youth-oriented show “Ang TV” back in the early 1990s. JB
