WATCH: ‘Star Trek’ trailer heralds new season this year
A new Star Trek series, “Star Trek: Discovery”, is finally going on air this year and it has been confirmed to be getting 15 episodes for its first season.
According to CBS, the show will premiere in the fall. Previously, reports spoke of the possible members of the cast, including some prominent names like Michelle Yeoh, Jason Isaacs and Sonequa Martin-Green from “The Walking Dead”.
The trailer finally revealed Michelle Yeoh taking up the captain’s seat as Captain Philippa Georgiou.
Despite production delays, it’s a good treat for Trekkies to finally have a full trailer to sink their teeth into. JB
