Miss World PH 2014 Valerie Weigmann engaged to BF

Miss World-Philippines 2014 and former TV host Valerie Weigmann has just gotten engaged.

The 27-year-old Filipino-German beauty queen said yes when her boyfriend of seven years, lawyer Bodie Pulido, popped the question during the couple’s recent trip to the ancient Machu Picchu site in the Andes Mountains of Peru. Pulido is the brother of GMA News TV anchor Maki Pulido.

“And the highlight of the whole trip…finding my forever in the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu,” Weigmann captioned her Instagram snap on Tuesday. “After 7 years you sealed the deal in the most excellent way.”

Weigmann was the country’s bet to the Miss World pageant in 2014, wherein she finished among the top 25. She started her career when she joined “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition” in 2008, which was won by Ejay Falcon. She briefly worked as a co-host for noontime show “Eat Bulaga” in 2013.

Currently, Weigmann is signed under top modeling agency MSA Models and strutted at the New York Fashion Week 2017 with Miss Universe 2012 runner-up Janine Tugonon.  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
