The goblin met the grim reaper played by Lee Dong-wook whose task is to take the souls of dead people. One day, the two met. Ji Eun-tak played by Kim Go-eun, who is known to many as the “Goblin’s bride”. She has the ability to see ghosts and all her life, she was made to believe that she is destined to meet the goblin and help him return to ashes.
The drama was written by Kim Eun-sook, who also wrote the popular series “Descendants of the Sun” (2016), “Secret Garden” (2010) and “The Heirs” (2013). Eun-sook won the Grand Prize in the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards for it, while Gong-yoo won as the Best actor for his role as the goblin.
