Channing Tatum pens heartfelt letter to daughter, wife
The mere mention of Channing Tatum’s name sends shivers to much of the female population. Turns out he’s pretty good with words, too.
To mark the recent launch of the Magic Mike Live show in Las Vegas, Nevada, which was conceived by Tatum, famed women’s magazine Cosmopolitan published an emotional piece penned by the 37-year-old actor himself.
The moving letter was dedicated to his 3-year-old daughter, Everly, with wife Jenna Dewan.
Although his kid is still pretty much a toddler, Tatum shared his vision for Everly—and even went as far as discussing the complicated topic of “the birds and the bees.”
“I tried to imagine the things I’d want her to read that would help her understand men and sex and partnership better, and at that moment, I realized a strange thing,” the Hollywood A-lister wrote.

“I thought about when I first met Jenna. I knew our connection was really powerful, but I wasn’t sure what our relationship was going to be,” he wrote.
“Then one day, Jenna just blurted out that she knew exactly what she wanted in life and she didn’t have to look for it anymore because it was me. She had no idea what I’d say or how I’d react, but that was her truth. I remember feeling this incredible rush—it was the sexiest thing she’d ever done for me.”
He added: “I felt strength, because in that moment, she had accepted every part of me, the good and the bad.” Khristian Ibarrola /ra
