Nicki Minaj takes Twitter dares, gives away money to support fans’ schooling

All-around singer, songwriter and rapper Nicki Minaj played fairy godmother to some lucky college students on Twitter—by offering to pay any tuition, school fees, and even loans that troubled them.

It started out as a music contest, where fans who rapped best to her new song using an app would be handpicked and flown in to see her in person. The Trinidad-born artist said she had enough money to fly out anyone from anywhere, to which someone asked if she could pay for his tuition:

Her reply quickly turned into a whole other kind of contest, where students asked for help with their schooling:

She only asked for 4.0’s and straight A’s in return.

For the Grammy-nominated rapper, $1,000 (P50,000) is nothing, and she was willing to give it for summer classes:

According to the gossip website TMZ, one lucky fan has already received a promised $500.
