Cheer Factor: ‘Bahay Bata’ off to Marrakech

After winning in Vancouver last October, Eduardo Roy’s “Bahay Bata (Baby Factory)” will compete at the 11th Marrakech International Festival, which will be held in Morocco from December 2 to 10. “Bahay Bata” previously won Special Mention in the Dragons & Tigers section of the Vancouver fest. Cannes-winning Filipino director Brillante Mendoza is part of the jury.—Bayani San Diego Jr.
