Richard Juan turned down gossips that he’s setting his eyes on Miss Universe Thailand 2016 and fan darling Chalita Suansane.
Dating rumors started when the model and former “Pinoy Big Brother” contestant met with the beauty queen-model during his trip to Bangkok last February. The pair first met during the Miss Universe pre-coronation event at the SMX Convention Center.
“We’re just really good friends,” he told the Philippine Entertainment Portal. “We’re really close, we’re really good friends na parang (like) we talk once in a while. So, we got to know each other.”
Juan, 24, bonded with Suansane again, this time during a trip to Seoul with Miss Universe Korea 2016 Jenny Kim. He said, “We met different people together and, yeah, it was nice hanging out with her.”

Side by side with Philippine bet Maxine Medina, Suansane, 22, peaked in the pageant’s Top 6. Because of a viral photo showing her traveling with 17 suitcases, Suansane got the attention of Filipino netizens and won their support more when she wore a jazzy version of the Barong Tagalog, a traditional Filipino attire.
