Netizens bashed TV host and celebrity Tim Yap for his supposedly tactless comments on the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 candidates.
Just like everybody who was glued to their TV sets, anxiously anticipating who the new winners will be, Yap expressed his fearless opinions which seemed to have drawn ire from some in the online community.
The social stir started when he noted that “some of the girls don’t look like they come from the provinces they represent.”

The celebrity then apologized for his remark: “I didn’t mean it that way. I am sorry for whoever I offended with my tweet. I think everyone is beautiful no matter where they’re from.”

In another tweet, the TV host was again ridiculed when he compared the candidates to controversial blogger and former sexy star Mocha Uson.

Yap then clarified that he is not at all bashing the ladies and he also would want to see who shall be the next queens.
