While women on the afternoon soap “Ika-6 na Utos” are busy in their catfights vying for love, Rich Asuncion gets a sweet proposal from her boyfriend, Benjamin Mudie.
In a series of Instagram posts on Thursday, the Philippine Volcanoes player surprised the “Ika-6 na Utos” star and Starstruck alumna with an engagement ring during the taping of one of the show’s episodes.
“Hands down to my man who pulled this proposal off oh so perfectly. So surprised when I saw him down on one knee in the middle of a scene during our taping. Of course, the answer is yes,” Asuncion captioned her post.
Co-star Sunshine Dizon, who helped Mudie with the proposal, shared a similar photo on her Instagram account. “The lucky guy got a yes from the beautiful lady,” she wrote.
Mudie hinted at an upcoming proposal in an Instagram greeting on Asuncion’s 28th birthday in January. “You’re getting close to that age where you should start thinking about settling down and starting a family,” he said.
