WATCH: ‘The Rock’ dons Pikachu costume for toddler daughter
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has donned many outfits throughout his illustrious career as an entertainer.
From the tight black spandex during his World Wrestling Entertainment days to his “Tooth Fairy” costume in 2010, the muscle-clad actor has certainly never been shy to mix it up in the wardrobe department.
Now, we can add a Pikachu costume to the list.
The 44-year-old hulk managed to squeak in his 6’5, 260-pound frame into an outfit based on the Pokémon franchise’s most popular mascot.
As shared by Johnson on his Instagram account, he spent Easter Sunday running around the house wearing the ensemble while chasing his adorable 1-year-old daughter, Jasmine.
“The first time Jasmine’s favorite character, Pikachu came to visit her months ago she was only crawling,” he captioned his post.
“Jazzy RUNS and for 2hrs straight she wants to play her new favorite game, ‘I run away and you chase me Pikachu. And you’re not allowed to take a break until I go night night,’” he shared.
Her toddler—who was clearly amused—even muttered the words “Peekyu” (Pikachu) by the end of the clip.
Johnson added: “I’m tired, today’s my only day off, it’s 118 degrees in this costume. And I luv every minute of it. Bring it on. It’s what daddy’s do.”
