Celebs’ fave summer memories
Every summer has a story. We forget about time and just let tranquility surround us. Despite their frenzied scheds, celebs still manage to squeeze in some “Summer Lovin’.” Tan lines fade, but the memories remain.
GMA 7 stars share their fave summer memory :
Janine Gutierrez: When I had a shoot in El Nido for an international magazine, it was a summer of many “firsts.” My first time to fly out for a shoot, my first trip to Palawan, my first pictorial for a foreign mag.
Edu Manzano: Last year, my children and I went to the US Virgin Islands. It was a quality time away from it all. We made it a point not to tinker with our phones or tablets too much, so we could really be in the moment and take it all in.
Michael V: Our family vacation in America. It felt good to be away from the scorching heat of Manila. Although it was sunny, the weather was still cool. We enjoyed making porma with jackets and gloves. OOTD pictorial to the max. It was summer, but it felt like spring.
Gabby Concepcion: The summer my father taught me water sports in Batangas. His love for the beach rubbed off on me. That’s why I have a beach house, which is my happy place.

Rochelle Pangilinan: When Art (Solinap) took me on a surprise trip to San Benito Farm, it was a total bliss. We had the pool all to ourselves. I felt so recharged after that escapade.
Ryza Cenon: When my boyfriend Cholo (Barretto) joined me and my entire family in Bohol and Baler. It strengthened our bond as a couple. He and my relatives got to know each other more. It was such a joy seeing how welcome they made him feel.
LJ Reyes: As a kid, I went home to our province every summer. So, early on, I knew the difference between rural and urban life. It’s good not to lose sight of our roots. When city life wears me out, I’m glad I have my hometown to run to.
Julie Anne San Jose: My Cebu trip. I stayed in the beach house of a friend. It was nice not to have any schedule, so I didn’t feel the need to check what time it was. It was a pure chillax week. I marveled at God’s wonderful creations.
Benjamin Alves: My birthday with my friends in Boracay. I’m such a beach bum. There’s something about waking up in board shorts and going straight to the beach to swim even before breakfast.
Glaiza de Castro: My trip to Boracay with friends. It was the first time I was allowed to go to the beach, so it felt like I was set free after being cooped up for so long. The island was not yet too crowded, so we really enjoyed ourselves.
