Britney Spears recently had Israeli politics—in millennial speak—“shookt.”
According to reports, after the announcement of the pop superstar’s July 3 concert in Tel Aviv, Israel has forced the country’s Labor Party to reschedule its primary elections—originally set on the same day as the show—to July 4.
The main reason? Logistics, apparently. The gig will be held at the Yarkon Park, which is across the Tel Aviv exhibition grounds, where the voting is supposed to take place.
“We delayed the vote one day. We couldn’t hire enough security for the election because of the Britney Spears concert. There would also be a lot of traffic and roadblocks that would make it hard for the vote to go ahead,” Labor Party spokesperson Liron Zach was quoted as saying by CNN.
Luckily, there is no event of such magnitude that needs moving in Manila, where Britney is set to perform on June 15.

“I thought I would be disappointing the fans if they knew I was gay. So I never did anything,” confessed iconic balladeer Barry Manilow, who recently came out as gay, during a recent interview with People magazine.
The 73-year-old American music artist, who has been a firm believer of keeping his private life private, has also opened up about his 39-year relationship with manager, Garry Kief, whom he married in April 2014 in an intimate ceremony attended only by “a few dozen guests.”

“But when they (fans) found out that Garry and I were together, they were so happy. The reaction was beautiful—strangers commenting, ‘Great for you!’ I’m so grateful for it,” Barry said.

The ‘Spy’ who snagged Meghan
Singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor, 23, rose to fame in 2014 via “All About that Bass”—a pop song intended to promote a positive body image among women. And now she’s happy she found someone who loves her and makes her feel sexy—curves and all—in her boyfriend, “Spy Kids” actor Daryl Sabara.
“I never really felt sexy with guys before. No one expressed how they liked my body out loud in the bedroom until I met Daryl. He is obsessed with it—every inch. And that has improved my confidence more than even ‘Bass’ did,” she told Cosmopolitan magazine.
“He’s a champion, so we’re in heaven,” added the young American recording artist.
