LOOK: Celebrities go on Holy Week vacation outside PH

For Filipinos, Holy Week is both a time to reflect and to relax away from the daily grind, and celebrities are no exception.

Some of the country’s brightest stars are taking the time off their busy schedules to spend quality time with their families and loved ones.

“Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino shared a photo of her on Instagram posing before the crystal clear waters of a resort in Male, Maldives, which she said had always been a part of her must-go places.

“We had a good buffet breakfast & now I’m back in the room being a nerd & about to start reading again… if you used to watch Kris Tv, you might remember that visiting here was part of my travel #bucketlist,” Aquino wrote.

“This 2017, I fulfilled my wish to go to Padre Pio for a pilgrimage in San Giovanni, we’re now in the Maldives, and the last in my list is to walk in the lavender fields of Hokkaido (I researched & it’s normally in July),” she added.

TV host-actress Anne Curtis and longtime boyfriend Erwan Heussaff, meanwhile, are in Melbourne, Australia. Curtis shared photos of the Queen Victoria Market and a local coffee shop on Instagram.

Curtis, whose father is Australian, was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria. She got engaged to Heussaff in December last year.

Miss World 2013 Megan Young and boyfriend Mikael Daez just crossed off Singapore and Malaysia on their travel list and are now in their final leg—Maldives.

“It’s Showtime” host Billy Crawford also posted a photo of him in the airplane with girlfriend Coleen Garcia. The two are bound for Thailand.
“Here we go my love!” Crawford said.

Model-host Isabelle Daza, who drew flak on social media for her controversial Instagram post on Africa children, is in South Africa with her husband Adrien Semblat. The couple shared their photos at the Kapama Karula Safari Camp.

“A little break for holy week in South Africa. Everything I always imagined Africa to be… #semblatsafari,” Semblat wrote on Instagram. YG/JE/rga
