Talented star moves to a haunted village

/ 12:35 AM April 09, 2017

This tale is perfect for Halloween.

Unbeknownst to Talented Star, the subdivision where a new residence stands is reputed to be haunted by all sorts of restless spirits.

TS is totally clueless. An Inquisitive Neighbor, however, couldn’t help snooping around after experiencing several close encounters of the creepy kind.

There is a rumor that a headless white lady roams the streets at night.

FEATURED STORIES

Various residents also complain that personal items would frequently vanish at home, only to reappear in a different spot a few minutes later.

IN discovered that the place had been a dumping ground for “salvaged” corpses, and that a rape victim had also been killed in the vicinity.

There goes the resale value of TS’ property. The horror! The horror!

Low profile

Now, this can very well be Controversial Celebrity’s biggest acting challenge yet.

After getting embroiled in a mammoth scandal, CC was marked as an “undesirable” character by unforgiving insiders. To clean up a tarnished reputation, CC has gone on a charm offensive.

CC’s Combative Boss, however, had a better idea.

CB advised CC to lie low for an entire month, to let the controversy die a natural death.

Well, that’s a far better option compared to the fate of colleagues who were given the boot by CB.

Playmates

Seems Popular Personality has found an insatiably willing playmate in Sultry Starlet.

Intrigue-mongers are whispering about PP and SS’ secret trysts on the set of latest project. PP and SS would often disappear between takes.

Well, it’s not the first time PP has fooled around with a coworker.

But PP should be extra careful this time because SS is a blabbermouth and can cause trouble—in more ways than one.

Better safe than sorry.

Crooked cohorts

What’s with these show biz denizens?

They can’t seem to differentiate between their official functions as public servants and their lucrative gigs as celebs.
Handsome Hunk has acquired a rather unsavory reputation in the industry.

Turned out HH is one of the most corrupt personages to cross over to the political realm. Nowadays, HH enjoys the life of a high roller.

HH should be more discreet, though. Or HH might end up like Crooked Colleague, who is now shunned by peers. CC is quite brazen, openly soliciting bribes from equally tainted characters.

Mixed emotions

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Gorgeous Stunner is feeling torn these days.
GS is happy for the blossoming careers of Powerful Kin and Struggling Relative.

Alas, GS is likewise apprehensive about the plan of PK and SR to collaborate on a common project.

Perhaps GS is afraid that the two would be subjected to all sorts of intrigues along the way. Or that the duo’s relationship would be strained as a result of the controversies.

GS doesn’t want history to repeat itself, after all.
