Back in his 21st birthday, former “One Direction” crooner Harry Styles, now 23, said he received a birthday gift from Adele that was “literally” suited for his age.
In an interview with Nick Grimshaw of BBC Radio 1, Styles praised the British Grammy winner for her soothing vocal prowess and admirable work ethic.
“I’ve spoken to her a little bit, she knows one of the guys that I wrote it with (his music) a lot. But I don’t think so much advice, I just like how she does stuff,” he said while pumping up his description of Adele with positive adjectives. “I think she leads by example, she’s the biggest, she’s amazing, she’s the best so she should be the biggest. The thing with her is she’s a different thing, she’s just good at it, I like how she does everything, it looks very nice.”
Amusingly, Adele wittingly gifted Styles with a copy of her “21” album for his 21st birthday. “For my 21st [birthday], she gave me one of her albums 21 and said, ‘I did some pretty cool stuff when I was 21, good luck’ and I was like, ‘geez,'” Styles gushed.

After shooting for his rookie acting gig for Christopher Nolan’s “Dunkirk,” Styles spent a lengthy period of time recording his forthcoming solo album in Jamaica.
“I think we wrote about 70 songs – we did 50 songs and ideas in Jamaica and that’s including like little ideas. Well, full songs, I say there are 30 songs probably,” he revealed. To tease fans before his album’s release, Styles debuted a music video for the rock solo “Sign of the Times” on Friday. Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
