The science-fiction “Transformers” live-action franchise has become one of the most successful film sagas in recent memory.

Since 2007, the franchise has released four movies, with the fifth one dubbed “The Last Knight” set to come out this June.

Director-extraordinaire Michael Bay has helmed all five projects so far, but recently revealed he’d be taking some time-off from future sequels.

In the process, the 52-year-old film buff also revealed that 14 possible Transformers movies have already been written.

“There’s good stuff,” he said, adding he intends to return to the franchise at some point. “I would like to do one of them, though.”

Meanwhile, the first three films starred Shia Labeouf, up until “Age of Extinction” in 2014, wherein Mark Wahlberg took the lead role.

Aside from “The Last Knight,” a spin-off based on the series’ popular character Bumblebee is set to debut next year, while a sixth untitled film is scheduled for  2019.  Khristian Ibarrola /ra
