John Legend serenaded everyone with his new single, a compilation of pungent insults straight from the mouth of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
In an episode of “The Nightly Show” aired last week, the singer accompanied himself on the grand piano as he sang a song about Ramsay’s “greatest insults” and promoted his eyebrow-raising fictional album “Gordon.”
“I’ll get you more pumpkin and shove it right up your f*cking arse/ Would you like it whole or would you like it diced,” Legend crooned.
“There’s more olive oil on this than Popeye’s d**k / You put so much oil in this the US wants to invade your f*cking plate,” he added. “You put so much ginger in this, it’s a [Ron] Weasley.”
While Legend was hurling the last Ramsay zinger, the chef sat beside him and unmistakably stole the spotlight. “Why did the chicken cross the road?” Legend crooned, to which Ramsay replied, “Cause you didn’t f*cking cook it.”
In another skit on the late night show, Ramsay pranked the audience as he pretended to slice off his finger after using a blender.
Ramsay, 50, has been a revered figure when it comes to fiery cuisine and having a “peppery” mouth on screen and on social media. For the past few weeks, he has been critiquing wannabees’ dishes posted on his Twitter page and dishing out at chefs in his cooking show “Hell’s Kitchen.” Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
