Upon arriving in Manila at 5 p.m. April 2, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin immediately sat down for a meeting with Rhiza Pascua, CEO of MMI Live, promoter of the British band’s concert on April 4 at the MOA open grounds in Pasay City.

The meeting, held at an undisclosed hotel near the concert venue, was confirmed to the Inquirer by Pascua herself, who posted on her Facebook page a photo of Martin seated beside her.

Martin’s arrival, two and a half days ahead of the concert, was unusual especially for a superstar act like Coldplay.

The concert, with 35,000 tickets sold, will be the biggest live performance in the Philippines this year. CBB
