Park entered Philippine show biz when she was crowned runner-up in the ABS-CBN talent search “Star Circle Quest” back in 2004. After several stints in local films and TV series, she returned to Korea and joined the now-defunct pop group 2NE1.

She also sat as one of the judges of the reality show “Pinoy Boyband Superstar” with Yeng Constantino, Aga Muhlach and Vice Ganda. Moreover, Park returns to the big screen with the forthcoming Korean movie “One Step,” which will be shown in Philippine cinemas this May.

During an episode of the Korean show “Battle Trip,” Park defended the Philippines from people’s doubts and introduced Koreans to the exquisite beauty of Palawan and Bohol’s beaches.  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
