With similar beginnings, they all have reached different career heights, but the tandem of Donnalyn Bartolome and Bret Jackson declare they don’t feel envious at all with fellow Viva artists James Reid and Nadine Lustre, one of the hottest love teams today.
JaDine, as the love team is known, enjoys massive following and fan base way ahead of their former batch mates. For Bartolome and Jackson, however, there is no beef with JaDine.
“Ang cute nila, nacucutan ako, nakita ko yan dalawa hindi pa sila, eh (They’re so cute, I find hem so cute, I’ve seen them before when they were not together yet), Bartolome said in her March 22 guesting on Inquirer ShowbizLive with Bret Jackson.
Same goes for Jackson, who started his career inside the Pinoy Big Brother House with James Reid as housemates in its Teen Clash edition in 2010.
“I was with them all the time, before, I got kilig (thrill) and would take pictures of them all the time. I used to have pictures of them that I just kept them for myself,” he said.
Besides being under contract with the Viva Artists Agency, all four are good friends in real life and are supportive of each other’s careers.
Bartolome currently has a YouTube movie “Happy Breakup,” a spin-off from the hit single with the same title. Jackson also discussed on ShowbizLive movie and TV projects he’s slated to do this year.
Meanwhile, JaDine are focused on their projects for the Kapamilya network. /ra
