Controversial sexy actress Ellen Adarna is in hot headlines again but not because of the usual issues about her, rather, due to an old grudge against the Cebu City mayor’s son over an incident that happened eight years ago.
It was Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña’s outrage about “spoiled brats” in connection with a recent road-rage incident that touched the nerve of Adarna, who turned to social media to air her personal experience with the mayor’s son, Miguel Osmeña.
The incident, which happened almost a decade ago, seemed to contradict the mayor’s dictum about fairness to everyone involved in a dispute regardless of their status in society.
Adarna recalled an incident wherein she and her group encountered the mayor’s son eight years ago, during which he allegedly aired a death threat and shot her friend’s digicam. She posted a photo of the wrecked digicam.
“REALLY REALLY REALLY???? WELL WELL WELL… WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE HAHAHAHAHA Throwback feelings when your “BRAT” shot my kabarkadas digi cam, hung it on her gate and threatened us with a text message “the next time this happens the bullet goes through your head,” she said in her Facebook post.
The younger Osmeña turned to Facebook via his wife Bea Osmeña’s account to rebut Adarna, answering in detail her accusations. He dismissed Adarna’s allegations as “ancient, baseless accusations” only because he said the mayor had indirectly reprimanded Adarna’s friends involved in the incident.
Adarna calls Osmeña “coward”
Despite Osmeña’s denial, Adarna stuck to her claim via an open letter she posted on her Facebook page on Thursday.
“I couldn’t stand the hypocrisy and the power tripping,” she said. “You’re so self-righteous. You act as if you’ve done nothing wrong, like you’re an angel. But you’re not. You are a coward.”
She added, “You can fabricate the truth all you want but people know who you really are. People know WHAT you really are and what you’re capable of; and no amount of PR, fake accounts, or Facebook bots can change that.”
She ended her letter by saying sorry to the people who had been thrown into the issue. “I’m sorry to those who’ve been brought into this,” she said. /ra
