World-renowned Filipino designer Francis Libiran and his foreign boyfriend, businessman Christian Mark Jacobs, tied the knot in a beach wedding in Boracay on Friday.
Before dusk, Libiran marched down the aisle while John Legend’s “All of Me” was playing in the background. The couple wore matching navy-blue suits from head to toe, as documented by their close friends on Instagram.
Host Tim Yap witnessed the nuptials and filmed the couple’s intimate moments until the couple was both pronounced “husband and husband.” Also spotted among the guests were actor Robin Padilla and actress Kaye Abad, who shared photos of the newlyweds on her Instagram pages.
“You showed me what it’s like to wake up every day to know that I am loved…You’re the kindest, gentle, and caring partner that I can ever hope for,” Jacobs told his partner. On the other hand, Libiran called his partner’s existence in his life as an “answered prayer.”
“Today proves that [a] specific prayer works and God listens,” Libiran said, and then cracked a joke about Jacobs’ height. “I prayed for a partner who’s taller than me…How can I not [love you] when you do not fail to make me feel special every single day?”
